Love the aesthetic and the gameplay feels smooth! It is also very hard! I lost a lot of times. Still fun though.

Not sure why, but it seems for me the main menu is not scaled properly and I cannot start the game unfortunately. Would love to try it out if you have a fix. The art style looks interesting.

Interesting idea, but could use a bit more work on making sure the pathfinding moves in a predictable/reliable way. I love how the camera moves when the player dies though! Gave me a laugh.

Awesome concept and great use of simple mechanics. With a little more time this would be an awesome full game!

Super fun, our team had a similar idea of the "Out of Control" theme with your speed being the part that is out of control. I love the feedback you get from your actions and the effects and sounds for dying... Which I also did a lot. It was very difficult for me to even get around the track once, but I can totally feel how satisfying it would be if you were a bit better at it. Fun!

Art is cool and I like the idea of the buttons and having to reconnect them together when they break, but it is a bit unclear what to do at first. Maybe try introducing each button separately or adding a short tutorial if you continue it after the jam! Nice work :)

Nice art, it looks good!

Agreed!

Don't be discouraged by others games -especially ones that use large asset packs in a game jam-, this is an awesome and creative game and its very fun to manage the different people that can research different things. Visual polish will come with time, but keep at game development, you're great at it and your ideas are fresh!

Thanks for the feedback, sounds pretty out of control to me! ;-).... Glad you had fun playing.

Well done, the strategy is definitely to take it slow and be calculated with your placements if you want to get to the warp gate successfully. We wanted to make sure the game felt really good, rather than feeling OK and having more levels for the jam, but we will definitely update this page if we ever get a chance to expand on the idea.

Love the artwork, the little skeletons and dinos are awesome!

Thanks for the feedback, simple but polished was kind of the motto we had going into this, so its good that it came across as such! Of course it can only be so polished for a jam though.

Very cool asthetic, but I would be careful submitting something that relies so heavily on prebuilt assets for a 48 hour game jam. The first note also has a problem showing a message from the developer of the package to the developer of the game over the top of the note the player should be reading. https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/horror-fps-kit-82643

A bit too much control for my liking ;)

Fun and polished but mouse input could use some work.
